What are some lawn maintenance/design services that are not offered much,and people would be willing to pay 4?
Q. We are expanding a lawn maintenance business we already have, and are looking to offer more services. We want to know what people are wanting, specifically services not offered much, because we are wanting to make a profit. Clients are willing to pay a little extra if it's something they want/need done and we are the only business who offer the service. Anyway, it does not even have to be lawn related. Any cool or interesting ideas, that would make our business stand out?

A. not knowing how big your company is and what you are already offering - you could do pruning and hedge trimming - you could offer aerating and leave removal - if you have a good mulcher on your equipment offer to mulch the leaves on the grass they will deteriorate and feed the soil and cut down on the fertilizer need to feed the grass - you could clean gutters - offer your customers whatever they want - people like to deal with one company that do a good job than 2 or 3 company's that will only do one thing

How can I contract structural engineering services for a sculpture online and inexpensively?
Q. I need to have the strength of a bent piece of sheet metal analyzed to see the maximum load it can support given some gauge of stainless steel. I would also like some process engineering services to determine the best way to assemble the final sculpture. I would like to know the best and most economical way to contract these services online.

A. Go here to search the various structural engineering firms:- https://online.acec.org/a cecforum/acecLogin.asp They ain't cheap! Some sculptors have hired firms like these, but you need a wealthy sponsor such as the City of New York or whomever. Or you could get yourself a copy of Solid Works and do your own analysis. Or you could build a test piece and measure the failure load yourself. Sculptors and civil engineers are not generally a happy mix. You will have your work cut out for you, as all sculptors do. The ways to stay on the right side of an engineer are as follows:- 1) All financial arrangements must be agreed in advance. Is denying a client services because they do not speak English illegal?
Q. I work for a non-profit that offers housing for homeless families. It has an application process that requires an interview with the case manager. She doesn't speak spanish, so when spanish speaking clients inquire about their status in the program, she claims that she can't help them. I'm bilingual and have offered to assist, but she insists that it wasn't necessary. I've asked if she's considered hiring a transilator and again she insists that it was not necessary. It just doesn't seem right that they deny people services because of a language barrier.

A. Whether it's legal depends on the laws of your state. Whether it's efficient is another matter. Why don't YOU prepare a sign in Spanish advising clients that no translations are available and applicants must bring someone who speaks Spanish with them.
