When setting up a new external POP3 email account, I keep getting an error message about my new email address?
Q. The message asks me to check my email address, but both the new one and the Yahoo email addresses are active and accurate. Do you know what they are really asking and how do I resolve this so that I can save the new account?

Can I have my emails forwarded from a email account I want to close to my new email account?
Q. I am unable to stay logged on to my current email account. If I can log on the system shuts me down. This is only happening with my account. My family has atleast 3 other yahoo accounts and it is not affecting theirs. I created a new account for myself with yahoo. I would like to be able to forward my mail from the account I have trouble accessing to my new account if that is possible.
Asked by Carrie P - Sat Nov 25 16:20:34 2006 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you still use the "classic" Yahoo! Mail, you can instruct the program to access your other mail accounts. You don't need to go to these anymore, as long as your messages were left on the server. In the Yahoo! Mail Beta this does not (yet) seem to be possible.

Is there any easy way to move/send all my emails to a new email account?
Q. Basically, names on our Comcast account are changing, so they say they have to close that one down, and start new accounts with the new names. They say I won't be able to get into my current comcast email once the change has been made. How do I get my emails out Comcast and to another email account? Is there anyway to just send the info a whole folder at a time or something?
Asked by MelraeJones - Fri May 23 18:38:15 2008 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. no, you must manually send them all to your new account by simply going thorugh each one and forwarding it to your new email address...and if you are registered or affiliated with anyone with your old email, the best thing you can do is edit the options to forward all email incoming to your old email to be forwarded to your new one.

A. I'm not sure I understand... You gave THIS account your new Email address (through"Edit MyProfile") so that communications sent to you from your Profile page would go to the new email account ? If you are receiving mail from this Y!A accont at the new address, then that is working. If you made a new Answers Account and gave it your new email address (?) then only the new account will receive email at the new address. (Each Y!A account must have it's own -seperate- email address) Perhaps on this existing email account tou can have this account's email forwarded tothe new one? In order to receive email at the new email address -directly- for THIS account: On your Y!A Profile (THIS one) click on "Edit My Preferences" . There is "EMA [cont.]

How Do I create a new email account to use with apple Mail?
Q. I have been trying to access my Yahoo! account through this program, but i realized to do that i am going to have to pay. I am willing to create a new account so it will be compatible with the Apple Mail program, but i am not sure how to go about doing that. Anything helps, thank you!

A. The easiest one to make would be a gmail one. It is free and offers both POP and IMAP mail synchronization. Once you have set up your free account, in Mail, click create new account in the accounts preferences and type in the address you have just made and the password, and it will set it up automatically for you.

How Do i transfer from one email account to new yahoo account?
Q. I have an email account with verizon and I need to transfer all information, emails, addresses over to new yahoo email. How do I do that because the transfer option isn't working.

A. Maybe YAHOO is not offering addresses transfers now - about transferring e-mails it's first time one tells me about it for when I opened my US Yahoo mail account last month it prompted me to OK sincronyzation from GOOGLE G-mail. Maybe it did with me because I told Yahoo my g-mail account was to be my alternate e-mail address. Try to go in the same line as I.
