How many steps does it take to hatch a ditto breeded eevee in Pokemon Diamond?
Q. I breeded one of eevee's evoulutions, and Ive been running around so much, but the egg watcher still says its not close to hatching. I just want to know how many steps I need to hatch it

A. If you're at the point where you're breeding dittos with eevees, I suggest you go to Stark's Mountain and catch a magcargo with the special ability "magma armor." If you keep magcargo in you party while you're trying to hatch an egg, the number of steps required to hatch the egg will be halved. ALSO eevee requires 9216 steps to hatch. However, this is an average, so you might want to expect the hatching somewhere around 9000...just in case you want your eevees hatched in a certain place. for example, i like for all my pokemon to hatch in amity square. Why? I really don't know; it's just a preference.

How long does it take for a Chicken to hatch?
Q. I am hatching some Seabrights. They are very small chickens. Will they hatch earlier than 21 days because they are a smaller breed. I know that with call ducks they hatch 2-3 days earlier than regular ducks because they are smaller. I cant find this information anywhere. Please answer me. Do smaller chickens hatch earlier than larger ones? Mine are due on April 5th. I am also hatching Silver Searbrights, Delwares, Key West Chickens, and Aracunas (I dont know if this is the right spelling). Thanks for you answer Tris. Well today is day 19 and one of the seabrights is hatching. There is a little peep hole and you can hear the chick peeping. Yay. I cant wait for them to hatch. Another seabright is pipping a hole. So now there is 2 chicks… [cont.]

A. Your right about there not being enough info on this! i even looked for you but found nothing! but just out of "eggspiriance" I can tell you that they probably will hatch the same as the other chickens! bantams are super small and they hatch in 21 days! but watch out just in case they do hatch early! (if they do it won't be nothing but 1 or 2 days!) i'm having two chickens sit on eggs (a buff orpington and a australorp) and they are do on Easter! i didn't know that they would fall on Easter until later! perfect timing! The best of luck with your little seabrights! they will be darling! Keep in touch! Tris

How long does it take for snapping turtle eggs to hatch?
Q. I found some snapping turtles eggs today that just been laid a couple hour before I found them.I am wondering how long does it take them to hatch my little brother is so eager to see them when they hatch.
Asked by Turner - Thu May 15 19:28:33 2008 - - 3 Answers - 1 Comments
A. 60 to 90 days. DON'T move them if possible. turning reptile eggs kills the embryo. If they must be moved mark the top of each egg with a felt tip pen so you can be sure you don't turn them. The eggs take longer to hatch if they are cooler and temps above 75 will probably kill them. Hopefully you left them in their nest, mark the location and watch it for signs of hatching. The eggs will probably take 2 to4 days for the whole clutch to hatch. E-Mail me if you have moved the eggs.

What's the best weatherstripping for my leaky door and attic hatch?
Q. My door leaks at the top-left corner. I tried adding some P-weatherstrip, but I think it was too narrow, there is still a draft. A link to the product you suggest would be helpful. Also, what's the best weatherstripping for my drywall attic hatch? I tried a plastic tube gasket weather strip but there is still a bit of a draft. Should I install another piece of gasket on top of the strip I already put down? My attic hatch has a texture on it to match my ceiling which creates grooves for air to come in.

A. For the leaky door, look at a DIY site like that shows how to install foam, door jamb weatherstripping that attaches to the door frame and pushes against the door when it is closed. If that type can't be used then you may also be able to install the V-flex or spring seal type that attaches to the door frame to seal around the gap between the edge of the door and the frame. Some sites that show the types of weatherstripping are: For the attic access, if you have a pull-down stair then you can create a lightweight box that fits over the stairs on the attic side and can be moved when the stairs are pulled down to allow entry. You can construct the box from rigid foam board. It should rest squarely on top of the stairway frame.… [cont.]

how do i hatch a cockatiel egg and care for it?
Q. a friend has birds that laid an egg. the male pecks the eggs, so another friend took the egg, since she has a cockatiel. she wants to hatch the baby and hand feed it. how is this done?
Asked by waynesworld111 - Mon Jan 2 02:44:16 2006 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. This is a very, very difficult process and in all likelihood, the baby will not survive regardless of how well your friend cares for the egg. Baby birds are exceedingly fragile and can die in the shell from such small shocks that it's probably already gone. She needs to candle the egg - shine a penlight through it - to check the status of the egg and see if the chick is still, by some miracle, alive. Pecked or not, if the egg has been moved too quickly, bumped, or allowed to cool too much, the chick will die. Human body temperature is not warm enough to incubate a baby chick. If the chick's life is the main concern, your best bet is to give the egg to a hen that's already sitting on a clutch. If your friend tries to hatch it herself,… [cont.]

Is it normal for ducks to hatch with some of its yolk still attached?
Q. I have had 4 ducks hatch with the yolk sac still attached to their bellies? At first I thought I had the humidity too high, but the last egg I hatched did not have near the humidity in the incubator and it still hatched attached. All have lived, but is this normal for them to hatch with the yolk attached?
Asked by Debra L - Wed Nov 14 00:22:32 2007 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments
A. This is not normal. The yoke has essential nutrients for the duckling. The yoke should be drawn into the body before hatching. I agree with the first answer that the temp might have been to high, this can cause eggs to hatch to early most ducks should hatch at 28 days. temp should be 99.5 degrees. humidity 60%. Good Luck with your Ducks!

How long would it take for a hot female leopard gecko to hatch?
Q. I hatched a baby leopard gecko at the temperature of 89 F. And 'he' hatched at 46 days. I need to know how long it takes for a hot female to hatch. B/C Im worried he may be.

A. maybe a little faster than most due to the high incubation temps. but what makes you think its a hot female? is it behaving any different than any other leo hatchling? is it aggressive? is it a "bully" ? if so how much ?how are you judging all this? these are questions you have to answer before this one can be. at that high incubation temp you COULD be flirting with "hot" females, maybe not. either way a hot female can still make a great pet, just a horrible breeder. e-mail me or post more info. p.s. finely an interesting question.

How do I get my hatch open from my key on my 2005 Chrysler Pacifica?
Q. I bought a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica base model, and on my key it has the unlock, lock, and hatch button. The unlock and lock works, but I cant get my latch to open. Can anyone help me figure this out?
Asked by Chrissy - Sun Dec 14 20:22:39 2008 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments
A. If you bought the base model, then it does not have the automatic hatch open and close feature...it sounds like they gave you the wrong keyfob (was the keyfob a replacement?). To open the hatch, you just push the unlock button, and then manually open it (the button is just above the license plate).

Q. I am a beginer breeder. Do you have any advice on training , feeding, and caring for baby lovebirds? Also, how do I know when the eggs will hatch? Should I hand feed them? What is the best food to give to lovebirds while they are breeding? What is the best food to give to the chicks after they have hatched? I know it sound like alot of questions: It is. A. Lovebird eggs hatch on the 21 day after they are laid. Handfeeding is best after leaving them with parents for the first 14 days if possible. I always give spray millet to the babies once they start to pin, because they are curious and will play with it, and realize it is food, easy to bring in seed as they get the hang of it. There are many handfeeding formulas, go to your feed store and ask about them, I like Kaytee. Also, you may candle the eggs to see if they are fertile. If you can see vains, they are good, it the egg is dark on you can not see through it, it's good and close to hatching, there should be an air pocket. If the egg is dark but runny, it's bad, and if it's yellow and clear, it's not fertile.

A. 1. Ride the bicycle, if you have it. 2. Have either Slugma, Magcargo, Magby, Magmar, or Magmortar in your party (their abilities make eggs hatch in half as many steps as usual) 3. Use either the bike path (second column from the right, a straight shot all the way up and down) or the long stretch of road that goes through Solaceon Town. Eggs hatch after you walk/ride a certain number of steps with them. You can see how many steps each species of Pokemon takes to hatch on The number is listed on each Pokemon's species page.

A. They will usually hatch between 19-21 days. Be sure to be giving the mother the food she needs to maintain her health as the hatching date gets closer and closer. This is a great site and it will show you what type of precautions you should take and what you should do in order to have healthy baby birds in a few weeks.

Q. Birds built a nest and laid eggs in my grill. I left them alone, but I think the birds abandoned the nest. I want to cook on my grill, but I want to give the little guys a chance too. How long does it usually take bird eggs to hatch. Don't know what kind of bird this is, but they're tiny eggs.

A. It varies by species..but most passerines (perching birds) take approximately 2 weeks to hatch their eggs, and usually another 2 weeks before the young leave the nest. If the nest is active and the parents are still attending to it, it would actually be illegal for you to remove it as all native birds are protected by law. I am glad you decided to give them a chance! You can watch it from afar to see if the parent or parents are going to it, to see if it has for SURE been abandoned. If they see you nearby..they will not come. You have to watch for a while though as they may stay off the nest for 20-30 minutes at a time. Once you are able to remove the nest...you will need to block off the entrance the bird used to get in there so that… [cont.]

How long does it take to hatch an egg?
Q. I don't know what kind of egg it is. My friend gave me her birds when she was moving, they died cause i have cats. There was an egg. I need to know how long it will take to hatch and how to keep it warm. Also how to hatch. I need to know right away. It is round and white. Has a little bird dropings on it.

A. Regardless of what kind of egg you have, it will not hatch because the mother has not been sitting on it for quite sometime. Eggs require a constant/steady temperature for a specific amount of days.

How long does it take for eggs to hatch?
Q. My birds had 2 eggs and I was wondering how long does it really take for the eggs to hatch and how do you know if it's fertile. Also we brought them a big box nest and the don't really go in there and she brought a norther nest that is like a normal birds nest show we try the normal birds nest? My brother said we have to wait 5 days to see if their fertile and, we have only 2 more days.

A. It depends on the bird on the incubation time. example: Peacocks 28 days. Pheasants 23 days. To check fertility, candle the eggs. Use a flashlight or another strong light in the dark and see if there are veins growing in the egg. Look for movement too. You should be able to see something now.
